Delegates from Across Europe Gather in Brussels for the 5th Congress of the European Network of Family-Friendly Municipalities

Hosted in the heart of the European Quarter at the European Committee of the Regions on 11 February, the Congress brought together attendees from over 10 countries to discuss the theme of “Free to Stay, Family and Cohesion Policies for Territorial Development. 

ELFAC Statement on European Commission Strategy for Vocational Education and Training

The European Large Families Confederation (ELFAC) welcomes the European Commission's initiative to develop a comprehensive European Strategy for Vocational Education and Training (VET).
 
ELFAC participated in the conference on supporting inclusive learning environments held in Budapest
On January 30th, a conference for strategies for supporting students with children and families in higher education was held organized by NOE, the Hungarian Large Families Association.
Housing emergency and large families: an ELFAC study
Families with three or more children are among those most affected by the current housing crisis. Despite this, recent European policies do not consider family size as a key parameter for assessing family vulnerability to this phenomenon.

ELFAC Tour consists of a series of online meetings with our member associations, with the aim of getting to know their best practices and learning from each other, in order to enhance the effectiveness of our work in favour of large families.


 

The Future of Cities Forum

How can Europe’s cities remain livable, affordable, and welcoming – for both residents and visitors? 
This high-level event will serve as a call to action for stakeholders to join the Future of Cities Coalition, a new pan-European initiative fostering cross-sector dialogue and practical solutions for cities across Europe. ELFAC is one of the promoters of this coalition.
